In the latest fourth developer beta of macOS Tahoe 26.4, Apple has made the new colorful desktop wallpaper originally released with MacBook Neo available to all Mac models. This set of wallpapers uses bubble-like lines and gradient colors, and is available in four colors: Mac Purple, Mac Blue, Mac Pink and Mac Yellow. The combination of lines and colors can also spell out the word "Mac".

Users who have installed the fourth developer beta of macOS Tahoe 26.4 can open the "Wallpaper" option in the system settings and scroll down to the "Pictures" column to find and enable this set of MacBook Neo wallpapers. Generally speaking, Apple will gradually open the wallpapers it uses for Mac marketing pictures to all Macs, so this time the Neo wallpapers have also joined the lineup of wallpapers previously designed for MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and other models.
In addition to new wallpapers, the macOS Tahoe 26.4 beta also introduces a batch of new emojis, including trombones, treasure chests, twisted faces, furry creatures, fighting clouds, killer whales, and landslides.
The current release is still a developer beta version and is expected to be open to public beta program users soon. The official version is expected to be released to all users this spring.
