CAD renderings of Google's next-generation folding flagship Pixel 11 Pro Fold have been exposed recently. Although there are still several months until the official release of the phone, relevant revelations have begun to appear intensively. According to past practice, the Pixel 11 series is expected to be unveiled around August this year, and this leaked rendering is the first time to systematically show the general appearance of the foldable flagship.

Judging from the overall shape, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is very similar to the previous generation Pixel 10 Pro Fold. If the two generations of models are put together, it can easily be mistaken for the same product. However, Google has still made some adjustments in details, especially in the rear camera module area. The new phone still uses the iconic horizontal camera island design on the upper left side of the back cover, but the transition between the camera island and the back panel has changed from the original straight line to a more rounded arc, making the overall look slightly softer.

The internal structure of the camera module has also changed significantly. Pixel 11 Pro Fold integrates the LED flash and microphone into the capsule-shaped oval protrusion inside the camera island, instead of being placed outside the camera island like the previous generation. Due to the adjustment of the internal component layout, the two elliptical areas inside the camera island have been elongated accordingly to accommodate the new opening design. Although the specific camera parameters have not been disclosed this time, this change means that Google has re-optimized the module arrangement and structural design.
The thickness of the fuselage is another focus of this revelation. According to reports, the thickness of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is about 10.1 mm in the folded state, which is slightly narrower than the 10.8 mm of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold; in the unfolded state, the thickness of the body is reduced from 5.2 mm of the previous generation to about 4.8 mm. Except for the thickness, the other dimensions are said to remain the same as the previous generation, which means that the new phone will not change significantly in terms of grip and screen size, but it will be slightly thinner and lighter in terms of portability and visual appearance.

In terms of core hardware, Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to keep pace with other models in the Pixel 11 series, equipped with Google’s self-developed Tensor G6 chip. This SoC is regarded as the latest generation of the Tensor series and is expected to be upgraded in terms of performance, energy efficiency, and security, but this leak did not reveal more information about the processor specifications and features.
At present, in addition to the body design, thickness changes and processor platform, specific details such as screen parameters, folding structure improvement, image configuration and rechargeable battery of Pixel 11 Pro Fold have not yet surfaced. As the release date of the entire Pixel 11 series approaches, it is expected that more news about this foldable flagship will be released in the future, adding another heavyweight competitor to this year’s Android high-end folding market.
