In order to achieve both high speed and performance, CR450 has undergone comprehensive technical upgrades. The front of the car is lengthened to 15 meters, the height of the car is reduced to 3850 mm, the weight of the entire vehicle is reduced by 10% by about 50 tons, and the air resistance is reduced by 20%. It only takes 4 minutes and 40 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 350 kilometers, which is 100 seconds shorter than the CR400 series.
At the same time, it has an energy consumption of 22 kWh/km, a noise of 68 decibels, and an emergency braking distance of 6,500 meters at 450 km/h. It has achieved multiple breakthroughs in energy saving, noise reduction, and safety. The design is compatible with existing 350 km/h lines and requires only a few infrastructure adjustments to operate.
