Chen Zhan, chief designer of the China Aerospace Liqing No. 2 engine, said that this marks that this type of engine can enter the reliability qualification test stage and prepare for mass production.

Liqing No. 2 adopts pin bolt design. This design installs a needle-like protrusion in the center of the engine nozzle to achieve precise control of thrust with a minimalist structure and high reliability.
