CCTV's 315 party revealed that electric bicycles were illegally lifted from speed limits, and Hello electric bicycles were named. According to CCTV reports, Hello Electric Vehicles currently has more than 5,000 stores in more than 100 cities across the country. Staff at the Hello Rental electric bike rental store said that their electric bikes can reach a speed of up to 75 kilometers per hour. Public information shows that the latest "Electric Bicycle Safety Technical Specifications" implemented by the country in 2025 clearly stipulates that the maximum design speed should not exceed 25 kilometers/hour, the battery pack's marked value should not exceed 48 volts, and the output power of the motor should be less than or equal to 400 watts.

In response to this matter, the Haro Rental electric vehicle platform issued an apology statement saying that we attach great importance to the "problem of a Haro Rental electric vehicle store providing speeding electric vehicle services to users" reported at tonight's CCTV 315 party and have launched a special investigation as soon as possible.

The statement said that Hello's electric vehicle rental business adopts a platform model to provide information matching services for users and merchants. The Hello electric vehicle rental platform has not directly operated offline stores. The vehicles in the platform stores are all purchased and operated by the merchants who have settled in the platform. The Haro rental electric vehicle platform has never authorized any store to directly use the Haro brand offline to engage in related leasing services. We reserve the right to further pursue legal liability for the behavior of relevant stores. According to the Haro Rental Electric Vehicle Platform Merchant Agreement, merchants should ensure that the vehicles provided on the platform are non-motor vehicles that comply with the national electric bicycle safety technical specifications. Hello continues to require merchants to ensure that the vehicles they rent comply with current national laws, regulations and relevant standards through reminders on the merchant side and spot checks at stores, and that no illegal modifications are made to the vehicles, and it regularly requires merchants to conduct self-inspections and rectifications on the vehicles in operation.

"The content of the CCTV 315 Party report shows that we have omissions in the review mechanism or management. We will use this incident as a warning, reflect deeply, resolutely make rectifications, and respond to the trust of users with practical actions. We thank the media and society for their supervision, and we will announce the follow-up progress in a timely manner."
