The CCTV March 15th Gala exposed the consumption fraud of many institutions under the banner of "physical heightening for teenagers". According to reports,These institutions take advantage of parents' anxiety about their children's height and use false propaganda, pseudo-scientific rhetoric and invalid refund promises to create height-increasing scams to make crazy money, involving many national chain brands such as Anlisen, Dechirui, and Inrico.

A reporter from the evening party investigated and found that major online platforms are full of alluring propaganda from such height-increasing institutions. Words such as "3-8 cm height increase is not a dream", "Growth accelerators for bones" and "Full refund if invalid" directly hit the pain points of parents.
Among them, Anli Shen Youth Physical Heightening Agency uses "green growth, no medicine and no injections" as its selling point. It launches a height-increasing treatment course for 19,800 yuan per year, promising to maintain a minimum number of centimeters. It claims to use instruments to stimulate the epiphyseal line to accelerate children's growth. It also attracts parents with "signing guarantee and refund if invalid".
But when the reporter visited its headquarters as a franchisee, the person in charge said frankly,The child itself is in the growth and development period and will grow taller naturally even if he does not receive services. This is the core truth that institutions will not disclose to parents.

Another national chain brand, Dejirui, also charges 19,800 yuan per year and promises refunds if it is invalid. It also claims to have a self-developed sonic height-increasing device that can stimulate the activity of knee-lifting cells to increase.
However, after the reporter investigated the manufacturer of the device, he found that the core function of the device is only anti-inflammatory and analgesic, which has nothing to do with heightening. The instructions clearly indicate that children under 14 years old are prohibited. At the same time, the much-publicized patent of Dechirui is actually related to the control system and has no function of stimulating the epiphyseal line or accelerating bone division.
Staff at its headquarters admitted that the organization only makes "sideline" money, seizing the time period when children naturally grow, and basically there will be no refunds.Many parents reported that their children had no significant improvement after receiving the service.

The fraud at these institutions also extends to adults whose epiphyseal lines have been closed. The person in charge of Dechirui headquarters bluntly stated that the so-called adult heightening only straightens the bones, not real growth. It is simply unrealistic to open the closed epiphyseal line;
The Yingruike Height and Physical Conditioning Center even claims to be able to achieve "closed height increase". Its height increase package covers physiological conditioning, psychological intervention and even metaphysics. The person in charge admitted in the interview that the project has no scientific basis or medical data support, and is just seeking huge profits under the banner of physical height increase.

Investigations show that stores selling such scams are expanding rapidly.Dejirui has more than 70 stores covering ten provinces, Anlishen has more than 60 branches, and Yingruike has more than 30 franchise stores.

These institutions rely on false high-tech, patent publicity and sales tactics to take advantage of consumers' height anxiety and package ordinary physical instruments into height-increasing artifacts, creating a hugely profitable consumer fraud industry chain and seriously infringing on consumers' legitimate rights and interests.
