Today, the MV for "Children of the Sun", the title track of Jay Chou's new album of the same name, was officially released. According to the official introduction, this MV is comparable to a Hollywood blockbuster and cost more than 20 million yuan, making it the most expensive in the history of the Chinese music industry.

The MV was directed by Jay Chou himself and co-produced by Wētā Workshop, an Oscar-level special effects team that has created "Avatar" and "Lord of the Rings". The preparation and filming took two years and three months, and went to Paris, France, and Taipei, China for live shooting.

From scene construction to special effects rendering, everything is executed according to Hollywood movie standards, and the picture texture and narrative tension far exceed traditional music videos.

The "Children of the Sun" MV adopts a suspenseful adventure narrative. Jay Chou transforms into a police detective and shuttles between 30 world-famous paintings. It integrates art classics with dark aesthetics and action gunplay. The scene restoration, costume props and visual special effects are all highly detailed.

Combined with immersive light and shadow and special effects lenses, the overall visual impact is presented as a theatrical movie.

With the official launch of the MV, the new album "Children of the Sun" will also be released digitally on all platforms on March 25. It has been nearly four years since the last album, and fans are full of expectations.

This new album is his 16th studio album. There are no old songs or demos in the whole process. It contains 13 new original songs, covering the three core themes of youthful memories, love and romance, and retro melodies.
