After investigation,In December 2025, the operator Zheng illegally operated an agricultural drone to lift people up a mountain in a citrus orchard in Fengjie County, Chongqing. The height of the ground crew reached more than 10 meters above the ground, causing a major safety hazard.
According to the "Interim Regulations on the Management of Unmanned Aircraft Flights", agricultural unmanned aircraft are exclusively used for agricultural production activities such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery.
At the same time, DJI's agricultural courses have repeatedly promoted that agricultural drones should be flown safely and cautiously. If the certificate holder uses an agricultural drone to engage in behavior that endangers public safety or the personal and property safety of himself or others, the certification agency has the right to revoke the certificate or refuse to renew the certificate.
DJI said,Zheng’s agricultural drone operation certificate is now revoked in accordance with the certificate management rules and shall not be reapplied within one year.
DJI reminds that agricultural unmanned aerial vehicles are specifically used for agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery and agricultural production, and are prohibited from being used for dangerous activities that violate laws and regulations:
1. Endangering public safety
Take off agricultural drones in crowded areas and fly above the crowds;
Use agricultural drones to carry and lift people;
and other acts that endanger social and public safety as prescribed by law.
2. Endanger the personal and property safety of yourself and others
Dangerous behaviors such as using agricultural drones to hang people;
Use agricultural equipment to intentionally destroy other people's property or endanger other people's personal safety;
At the same time, it also includes other forms of actively intentional and seriously dangerous behavior.
