According to "The Aviation Herald",On March 25, a Boeing 737-400 of Ariana Airlines in Afghanistan deviated from the runway when landing at Kabul International Airport.The passenger plane involved was flight FG-252, flying from Herat, Afghanistan, to the capital Kabul. All personnel were evacuated safely and there were no casualties.

Flightradar24 software showed that the flight deviated from the runway to the right when landing on Runway 29 of Kabul Airport, overran the runway, crossed the taxiway and stopped on the soft ground.

After the accident, all passengers and crew on board were evacuated via emergency slides. Photos from the scene show,The passenger plane involved was severely damaged. The belly of the plane was close to the ground. The damage to the left wing was particularly obvious. The specific damage is still being evaluated.

The passenger aircraft involved is a Boeing 737-400 model, which is 32.8 years old. This model was put into service in 1988 and completed its final delivery in 2000. It is an old model.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, and initial indications are that it rained on the day of landing and the slippery runway was one of the causes.
