On March 30, Haier Freezer released the industry's first "White Paper on Ultra-low Temperature Preservation Technology" at the Shanghai International Lure Fishing and Equipment Exhibition, and exhibited the household-grade -60°C ultra-low temperature cabinet under the Casarte brand. The white paper focuses on the seafood storage needs of sea fishing people and proposes that freezing temperature and refrigeration speed are the keys to preservation.

According to Haier, in the traditional -18°C freezing environment, the food cools down slowly, and large-sized ice crystals are easily formed in the cells, destroying the cell membrane structure, resulting in the loss of juice and nutrients. The ultra-low temperature of -60°C can achieve extremely rapid freezing, causing water molecules to form fine and uniform ice crystals, reducing damage to cell membranes, while reducing the reproduction rate of microorganisms and intracellular enzyme activity. Casarte-60℃ ultra-low temperature cabinet adopts ultra-low temperature dual-engine precise control refrigeration technology. The temperature difference inside the cabinet is controlled within 3℃, and the operating noise is 38 decibels, reaching the first-class energy consumption standard.

This product has previously won the IFA Annual Innovation Achievement Award, the AWE Innovation Award, and the industry's first household-grade low-temperature cabinet performance excellence certification issued by the Weikai Testing Agency. Euromonitor International data shows that Haier's global brand retail sales market share of freezers will be 20.4% in 2025, ranking first in the world for the 15th consecutive year.
