The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 dual version will be released in two weeks (April 22). Currently, overseas retailers’ online malls already have the price of AMD’s flagship CPU. Foreign media found that the dual versions of Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 have begun pre-sale in Canada and the United Kingdom, priced at US$958 and US$1,196 respectively. Of course, these prices are just placeholders for retailers and not final sales prices.

PC-Canada.com, a well-known Canadian retailer, lists the price of this new CPU as high as 1373.99 Canadian dollars, which is approximately 984 US dollars. However, since AMD has not yet announced the official price of this processor, the price may change. Similarly, another Canadian store, Shop RB C, also lists the dual version of Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 at 1,375 Canadian dollars, which is about 986 US dollars.

Foreign media WCCF speculates that since there are currently no competitors, AMD can set the price of Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 very high. Considering that it is the first processor to use dual X3D chips, it is positioned as a high-end chip that can significantly improve gaming and productivity performance.
The initial price of Ryzen 9 9950X3D is US$699, while the dual version of Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 is unlikely to be priced below US$799, or even higher.
In addition to having a total cache of 208MB, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 dual version also has a TDP increased to 200W. The processor will be officially available on April 22 and is expected to be available at more retailers before then.
