The United States is discussing sanctions relief for Iran and will work with Tehran to remove buried nuclear material, President Donald Trump said, responding to a key Iranian demand in cease-fire talks. "We are and will be discussing tariffs and sanctions relief with Iran," Trump said in a post on social media.

Iran has been under severe economic sanctions since Trump announced in 2018 that the United States would withdraw from a deal that limited Iran's nuclear program. Lifting these sanctions has been Iran's primary concern.
Trump also threatened to impose 50% tariffs on countries that provide weapons to Iran, and said that the United States will cooperate with Iran to extract nuclear materials.
"There will be no more uranium enrichment, and the United States will work with Iran to dig up and remove all deeply buried (B-2 bomber) nuclear 'dust,'" he wrote.
