Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, China CITIC Bank, and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank have officially announced the launch.Recently, Bank of China announced the MasterCard Apple Pay overseas consumption rebate activity, which will run from April 16 to June 30, 2026.


During the event,Cardholders who complete the binding of their cards in Apple Pay and make Apple Pay purchases through the Mastercard clearing network overseas and in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan will have the opportunity to receive a 100% consumption bonus of the order amount, with a maximum rebate value of US$5 for a single purchase.

The same credit card is limited to 3 participations during the event, and the reward pool is capped at US$60,000 per month during the event.

Card binding method

To bind Apple Pay with a MasterCard credit card, you need to upgrade your iPhone to iOS 17.0 and Apple Watch to watchOS 10.0 or above.

Officials stated that consumption in this event requires Apple Pay transactions cleared through the MasterCard network. Those who use other payment channels other than the above channels (such as online banking payment or quick payment through Alipay, WeChat, Tenpay, etc.), overseas cash advances, overseas transfers, electronic cash offline transactions, etc. will not participate in the event.
