As the second season of Overwatch begins, the game brings new heroes and a series of balance adjustments. One of the most eye-catching additions is the experimental post-game team voice chat feature, which allows both teams to communicate via voice after the game. But judging from the actual situation, the so-called "sportsmanship" idea is completely overturned.

Blizzard has claimed that the original intention of this feature is to make communication more lively and positive, allowing players to pay tribute to each other through voice rather than cold text. But obviously, the development team greatly underestimated the fierce emotions of players.

Judging from the various clips that have gone viral on social media, the vast majority of players use this new feature to troll each other. The voice channel is not filled with praise for "good game", but with abuse, yelling, personal attacks and showing off one's own rank. The most ironic scene is that when those "great" opponents who are arrogant in live broadcasts turn on the microphone and shout, they often receive an instant slap in the face. After all, shouting loudly does not mean playing well.

However, not everywhere is a Shura field. Some players complained that an awkward silence permeated their matches: players were either too shy to speak or didn't know what to say. Some fans speculate that this is Blizzard's attempt to force uncivilized players to speak out, in order to shame these players, rather than unscrupulously speaking out in anonymous text channels. But this idea seemed to have gone awry in the results, and everyone turned to the voice channel and started purely attacking each other.
