Following yesterday’s news that AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D will be re-released,@9550pro has also exposed the retail packaging box of the chip, confirming that the AM4 10th Anniversary Edition does exist and is expected to be officially launched in the second quarter of 2026.The packaging design is basically the same as the original version, with a "10-Year AM4 Anniversary" commemorative logo added at the bottom.

In terms of chip parameters, the 10th Anniversary Edition is exactly the same as the original version: Zen 3 architecture, 8 cores and 16 threads, maximum acceleration frequency of 4.5GHz, and equipped with 96MB L3 cache.

5800X3D is AMD's first processor equipped with 3D V-Cache technology, which increases the cache capacity from 32MB to 96MB through an additional L3 cache chip.

When the 5800X3D was released that year, its gaming performance easily surpassed all high-end models of the Ryzen 5000 series, and even rivaled the Ryzen 7000 series.

In the context of the current high price of DDR5, the AM4 platform based on DDR4 has become the most cost-effective choice. Considering the market response when the original version was released and the current price trend of DDR5, as long as the pricing is reasonable, there will still be considerable market demand for this veteran after its return.
