Recently, Bandai Namco officially released the trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3", confirming that the latest game in this popular series will be released in 2027. The project had previously been codenamed "Age 1000", leading many fans to speculate that it would be the spiritual sequel to the MMORPG "Dragon Ball Online". Now it is officially clarified that this work is the orthodox sequel to the "Super Universe" series.

The first trailer accompanying the announcement is nearly four minutes long. The film showcases several original characters created through the character editor, and features Bulma's English voice acting. Consistent with the tradition of the series, players will once again create their own warriors, travel through the classic stories of the "Dragon Ball" universe, and intervene in and change history.
The development team also confirmed that this game uses original materials from the late original author Akira Toriyama. It is said that the project was launched as early as the late 2010s. Based on Akira Toriyama's creative ideas, new characters and worldview elements were prepared in the game.

Although the trailer did not show much of the classic characters, attentive viewers discovered an Easter egg - the outline of Piccolo's iconic cape appeared in a certain shot.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" was released in 2016 and has continued to receive updates and additional content for nearly ten years. By the time "Superverse 3" came out, a full ten years had passed since the previous game. This game is expected to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam platforms in 2027. The Steam page is now officially online.
