According to 3DCenter monitoring data, the average price of DDR5 memory modules in the German market has rebounded to 410% of the level in July last year. The short-term price reduction in March this year proved to be only a flash in the pan.In January and February of this year, DDR5 memory prices hit peaks successively, and in March, prices fell for the first time since July last year. At that time, the industry once believed that the memory price increase cycle may reach an inflection point.

However, the latest retail sales data shows thatThe average price in April has been adjusted upward again, and the decrease in March is more like a short-term correction rather than a trend reversal. This trend is basically consistent with the retail price trend in North America and other regions.

Looking at specific models, the 2×48GB DDR5-6400 set saw the largest increase. Some DDR5 sets still saw a slight decline in April, but the overall average price has been brought back to a high level by the increase in high-capacity models.

Generally, large-capacity models are more vulnerable to price increases, but there have been precedents where 16GB and 32GB models have increased more than 48GB models, indicating that this round of price increases is not purely driven by capacity.

3DCenter's data covers a variety of DDR5 memory products from multiple German retailers, and can more accurately reflect the true situation of the country's DRAM market. Although the German market may not completely represent global trends, similar trends have emerged in other regions.
