On April 22, Leapmotor started the live broadcast of the D19 model's "Hangzhou to Beijing Thousand Miles of Non-stop Test Challenge", which spanned nearly 1,300 kilometers. However, a few hours after the live broadcast started, an abnormality appeared in the AR navigation interface of the vehicle's central control screen.
The live broadcast showed that the vehicle was driving on a highway at that time, and only the vehicle model was displayed on the central control screen, while all key information such as lane lines and other vehicles disappeared.
It is worth noting that after the bug in the navigation interface appeared, the comment area was directly closed in the live broadcast room of Leapmotor, and users were unable to send comments and interact. In the live broadcast, Cao Li, CEO of Leapmotor, also frequently looked at the central control screen, looking slightly nervous.
There is feedback from zero sports car owners that this is not the first time that lanes disappear on the AR navigation interface. It is a common bug in car models. Some car owners said that they have encountered similar problems two or three times.
As of now, Leapmotor has not issued an official response to the navigation anomaly in this live broadcast.
