SanDisk recently officially released a new generation of SANDISK Extreme PRO CFexpress 4.0 Type B memory card. This card uses the PCIe Gen 4 interface standard, with sequential read speeds up to 3700MB/s and write speeds up to 3500MB/s.

Of course, the most eye-catching thing is its price:The 128GB entry-level version is priced at US$249.99 (approximately RMB 1,703.86), while the top-of-the-line 4TB version is priced at US$1,799.99 (approximately RMB 12,268.19). All capacities come with a limited lifetime warranty.

The top version of this memory card sells for more than 12,000 yuan, and it naturally has unique skills in video recording.

Models with capacities of 1TB and above have obtained VPG-1600 certification, ensuring a sustained writing speed of no less than 1600MB/s, which is enough to meet the needs of RAW format video shooting with up to 12K resolution.

Small-capacity models are certified VPG-400 and VPG-800 respectively. This ensures that the memory card will not drop frames or interrupt recording due to fluctuations in writing speed when recording high-bitrate videos.

This memory card is equipped with SmartIdle technology, which can intelligently switch to low-power consumption mode when the device enters standby mode, effectively preventing overheating.

At the same time, the rugged and durable design allows it to withstand drops of up to 5 meters and bending of up to 70 Newtons, ensuring data security even in harsh outdoor environments.

In terms of capacity selection, SanDisk offers a total of six specifications from 128GB, 256GB, 400GB, 1TB, 2TB to the top-end 4TB.

This new product is expected to be officially launched in the third quarter of 2026.
