Apple's latest iPhone 15 ad uses a singing power socket to promote the battery life of the iPhone 15 Plus. As a non-Pro model, iPhone 15 Plus has a long battery life and can play up to 26 hours of video or 100 hours of audio on a single charge. In its latest ad for the iPhone 15 range, it demonstrates this by showing how the socket misses charging time for the iPhone 15 Plus.
The 38-second ad, titled "Miss You," was posted on Apple's official YouTube channel on Sunday night and initially shows the iPhone 15 Plus near a pair of wall sockets. The socket below changed its "shocked expression" and started singing to the iPhone.
The lower socket sings the lyrics to DoeBoy's song "WayTooLong" and the upper socket sings the accompaniment. The song's lyrics are perfect for a cell phone charging scene, including "At night, I think of the times when you and I were inseparable," "Having pure energy," and how the socket "can't wait for you to come home."
The ad explains the feature with the words "Loooooongbatterylife" before Apple's logo cuts to the end of the video.
The video's auxiliary description lists some of the main features of iPhone 15 Plus, including "Bigscree. Big battery life", smart island that replaces bangs, 48-megapixel main camera and USB-C.
