Some users have reported that there are bugs in many new iPhones. After the phone is completely exhausted and shut down, it will fail to turn on. The affected models include the iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air.Users reported that after the phone’s power dropped to zero and was shut down, it was immediately connected to USB‑C wired charging. The screen remained black, there was no low battery prompt mark, and the device could not be started.
The hardware reset operation of pressing the volume up or down and then long pressing the side button cannot wake up the device in most cases, and the wired charging restoration effect is unstable.

This issue is not widespread, does not affect all users, and does not trigger every time the battery runs out.
There is currently no official explanation of the cause of the problem. There have been multiple user feedbacks in relevant online communities, describing the same situation.
An effective solution tested by users and provided by Apple retail store technicians is to use a MagSafe wireless charger to charge the device and leave it alone for 10 to 15 minutes. The device can usually restart and display the Apple logo.
This fault is a temporary problem, and the device can be restored to normal use through the above method. However, it will affect the emergency use of the device in the absence of wireless charging equipment. Apple has not yet released relevant instructions and repair plans.
