In the latest preview version of Windows 11, a hidden display feature called "Screen Tint" was discovered, which allows users to superimpose different color filters on the screen to reduce visual fatigue.Unlike existing night mode adjustments, Screen Tint provides six preset hues, each targeting different usage scenarios: amber is suitable for long-term use, rose can reduce migraine triggers and fluorescent light sensitivity, and soft yellow can help relieve visual stress and improve reading comfort.

Other colors such as cool blue are suitable for glare sensitivity in strong light environments, light green can alleviate photophobia and discomfort with white backgrounds, and natural gray is suitable for users who find the contrast between black and white too dazzling.

In addition to presets, Screen Tint also supports custom tints, allowing users to freely select any color as a screen overlay and adjust the filter intensity with a dedicated slider.

This feature is not yet officially open, but judging from the preview code, Microsoft plans to place it in accessibility settings, alongside existing visual aids such as color filters, contrast themes, and magnifying glasses.
