Today, Japanese AI company LifePrompt announced the results of a test.ChatGPT, which is based on OpenAI's latest model, scored in many subjects in the undergraduate entrance examinations of the University of Tokyo and Kyoto University, surpassing the scores of human top candidates.

According to reports, ChatGPT is among the most competitive entrance examinations for the third category of natural science medical majors at the University of Tokyo.It was 50 points higher than the highest-scoring candidate in real life, and even got a perfect score in the math subject.

In 2024, this AI failed to pass all the school's entrance exams, but now it has achieved a breakthrough.

ChatGPT also participated in this year’s Japan Unified University Entrance Examination, and LifePrompt compiled its total results.

Among them, the University of Tokyo humanities and social sciences exam has a full score of 550 points, and the ChatGPT exam has a score of 452; the science exam also has a full score of 550 points, and its score is 503 points.

Both scores were higher than the highest scores announced by the school for admitted candidates: the highest score in the three categories of humanities and social sciences was 434 points, and the highest score in the third category of science was 453 points.

In Kyoto University's exams, artificial intelligence scored 771 points in the Law School Entrance Examination, exceeding the highest admission score of 734 points; it scored 1176 points in the Medical College Examination, higher than the 1098 points of the real person's top scorer.
