iPhone Fold will become the most significant redesigned model in Apple’s history. Its importance is considered to surpass that of the iPhone 4 and the iPhone X that ushered in the full-screen era, marking a huge leap in the form of Apple's mobile devices.
According to bloggers, the starting price of iPhone Fold is expected to be as high as 14,999 yuan, which will be the most expensive iPhone in Apple’s history. As a high-end wide folding model, its pricing is even much more expensive than the competing Huawei Pura X Max.
The blogger also pointed out that the imaging performance of iPhone Fold may be slightly inferior to that of domestic folding screen phones, but it will have great surprises in software innovation and performance, reflecting Apple's unique understanding of folding screen interaction.
The new phone will debut with the A20 Pro chip, which is manufactured based on the cutting-edge 2nm process. At the same time, it will be pre-installed with the new iOS 27 system, which is specially optimized for folding screens and supports more efficient split-screen multi-tasking display.
In terms of hardware parameters, iPhone Fold will be equipped with an external screen of approximately 5.3 inches and an internal screen of 7.7 inches. It will be equipped with dual 48-megapixel lenses on the rear, without a telephoto lens, and will support side fingerprint recognition.
According to the current plan, Apple will still release iPhone Fold at the autumn conference in September. However, due to delays in production, the official launch will most likely be one to two months later than the iPhone 18 Pro series.
