In the past, seven or eight units were sold a day during the peak season, but now the market is empty.

The store said that this round of notebook price increases has far exceeded the increases in stocks and gold. The Lenovo Savior Y9000P in the store was originally priced at 12,000 yuan, but has now risen to 18,000 yuan, an increase of almost one-third;

Even for entry-level models worth 10,000 yuan, the entry threshold has now risen to 12,000 yuan. Major brands such as Lenovo, HP, and Dell are all experiencing price increases.

This collective price increase of terminal notebooks is not a unilateral price adjustment by the brand, but the inevitable result of the downward transmission of rising costs in the entire PC industry chain.

As early as early April, the PC industry had set off a wave of price increases across the entire chain. From core hardware such as CPUs, memory, and solid-state drives to basic materials such as PCB circuit boards, plastic raw materials, and packaging consumables, prices have risen across the board. Price increases for end products have long been a foregone conclusion.

Coupled with the escalating situation in the Middle East at the end of February 2026, the already under pressure supply chain has become even worse. Affected by the obstruction of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, the supply of key raw materials such as helium, aluminum, and crude oil needed for semiconductor manufacturing is limited.

Industry insiders revealed that the current PCB circuit board delivery cycle has been significantly lengthened from the original 6 weeks to 6 months.

Unlike in the past, only high-end gaming notebooks were affected by the shortage of accessories. This round of price increases for all materials has affected all categories of consumer-grade notebooks, covering entry-level, mainstream to high-end models. The purchase cost of ordinary consumers will directly increase.
