Earlier Apple Vision Pro launch schedule showed that the mixed reality headset will start shipping in February next year, and the company's supply chain is now being overloaded to avoid any further delays. Now, one analyst believes that if the current schedule is maintained, the device will start arriving in stores by the end of January. In addition to these launch predictions, the analyst also said that the mixed reality headset will be Apple's most important product in 2024 and provided a shipment estimate for next year.

Apple VisionPro shipments are expected to reach 500,000 units in 2024; positive user experience will promote production growth.

According to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, large-scale shipments of Apple Vision Pro will begin in the first week of January next year. It is estimated that the first batch of products will arrive at the end of January or early February, which is basically consistent with the prediction of Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman. However, although Apple’s Vision Pro is expected to ship only 500,000 units, Kuo Ming-Chi believes that this will be the company’s most important product in 2024, and a positive user experience will pave the way for the healthy development of mixed reality in the future.

However, Ming-Chi Kuo's estimate of Apple Vision Pro shipments is only half of what we previously reported, with Jiemian's analysis reporting that the device will ship around 400,000 units at launch and will reach the 1 million unit milestone by the end of 2024. Ming-Chi Kuo's prediction seems more likely, although the analyst has been wrong more than once.

Positive user feedback will strengthen market consensus on the product, which may explain why Apple selects some retail employees to receive training on high-end AR headsets. The two-day training course, expected to begin in January, will instruct retail employees on how to approach customers and ask them to try out Apple Vision Pro while fitting the device perfectly on their head to help appreciate high-resolution content while providing a comfortable experience.

A good first impression can translate into potential retail sales, but only a small percentage of customers are willing to gamble on the hefty $3,499 price tag. In addition, Apple Vision Pro can only be purchased through a reservation system, and there is no expanded availability, which means that only US customers can be the first to experience this hardware. It is hoped that as the first batch of products are launched one after another, Apple can take a preemptive move in other markets and seize the mixed reality headset market before its competitors.
