A blind test conducted by Computer Base showed that Nvidia DLSS 4.5 won out in 6 out of 7 games, proving that gamers generally prefer the image quality of DLSS 4.5 to AMD FSR 4.1.

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 is the leading image enhancement technology in the green camp, while FSR 4.1 is still the flagship supersampling solution in the red camp. We’ve already seen how powerful these technologies can be in terms of visual quality. Unlike previous versions, both deliver the best possible visuals through better sharpening, noise reduction, and greater motion clarity.
However, without a side-by-side comparison, it's difficult to tell which technology offers the best image quality.
Computer Base has conducted this comparison before, with DLSS 4.5 winning handily. In this new test, players are once again invited to view side-by-side images of FSR 4.0, FSR 4.1 and DLSS 4.5. Users can compare the results in split-screen mode and select the scene with the best quality among 7 different 3A masterpieces.
The final results were announced after recording player votes for games such as Assassin's Creed: Shadows, Anno 117: Pax Romana, ARC RAIDERS, Resident Evil 9: Requiem, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and The Last of Us Part 1.
The poll shows that in most scenarios, players are more likely to regard DLSS 4.5 as the super-resolution technology with the best visual quality. FSR 4.1 ranked 2nd in most cases, while FSR 4.0 ranked 3rd in all games.
"The Last of Us Part 1" is the only game where DLSS 4.5 lost to FSR 4.1.
