U.S. President Trump posted on social media that countries around the world - the vast majority of which are not involved in the current open, fierce and well-known dispute in the Middle East - have turned to the United States for help, hoping to help rescue their own ships trapped in the Strait of Hormuz. These countries have nothing to do with this matter and are just neutral and innocent bystanders.

For the benefit of Iran, the Middle East and the United States, Trump said that he has informed these countries that the United States will guide their ships to safely sail out of this restricted waterway so that they can carry out shipping operations smoothly and normally. Trump said he emphasized once again that the area to which these ships belong has nothing to do with the situation currently taking place in the Middle East.

He has instructed U.S. representatives to inform relevant countries that the United States will do its utmost to escort ships and crews safely out of the Strait of Hormuz. All relevant countries have stated that ships will not return until navigation safety in the waters is restored and the situation is completely stable.

He announced that the mission, called Operation Freedom, will officially launch on Monday morning Middle East time.

Trump said that US representatives are having very active communication and dialogue with Iran, and these consultations are expected to achieve very constructive and good results for all parties. The original intention of the ship diversion operation was only to rescue completely innocent people, companies and relevant countries - they were just victims of the situation. This is a humanitarian initiative by the United States, countries in the Middle East, and especially on behalf of Iran. Many of these ships are on the verge of running out of food and various supplies that crew members need to maintain a healthy and hygienic life.

Trump said that this move can greatly demonstrate the goodwill of all parties and resolve the deadlock in the fierce confrontation between the parties in the past few months. He threatened that if anyone obstructed this humanitarian operation in any way, the United States would have to respond with force.
