Recently, spy photos of the new Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift have been exposed. The new car is expected to be launched overseas at the end of 2026 and introduced into the country in 2027.Judging from the currently exposed pictures, the most significant changes of the new GLS are concentrated on the front face.The headlight group adopts a new "double star emblem" design, with a star-shaped light source integrated inside, which greatly improves recognition when lit. It is equipped with a luminous central three-pointed star logo and an optional luminous grille frame.

High-end models are also equipped with a "bright star ring" grille, a lattice structure composed of 216 independent chrome-plated decorative points, creating a galaxy-like lighting atmosphere, and the shape of the front bumper has also been optimized.
The side of the body still maintains the classic large SUV silhouette of the GLS. The straight roofline and waistline ensure the expansion of the interior space. The roof rack and large-size multi-spoke wheels continue the luxurious aura of the model.
The new car also adds a variety of new car paint colors such as night black, crystal silver, and emerald green.

The changes to the rear part of the car are equally eye-catching. It is replaced with through-type three-dimensional taillights that are the same as those of the new E-Class, and the three-pointed star emblem element is integrated into the interior.
In terms of interior, the new car has been upgraded to MBUX Superscreen, which consists of a 12.3-inch instrument panel, a 14-inch central control screen and a 14-inch passenger screen.Equipped with in-car AI virtual assistant, seat vibration massage, rear independent entertainment system and new steering wheel, the driving assistance system has also been updated simultaneously.
In terms of power, the new car provides a 3.0T inline six-cylinder + 48V mild hybrid system, and a new 4.0T twin-turbocharged flat crankshaft V8 engine, and comes standard with E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL preview air suspension.
