It is reported that WeChat is testing a new transfer function in Grayscale. Previously, the payment method for WeChat transfers was limited to one of two options, namely change or a bound bank card. If the change balance is insufficient, you cannot pay with change and can only use a bank card instead. The new feature is called "Combined Payment", and users can choose up to two payment methods to be used in combination when transferring money.

For example, if the change balance is 1 yuan but you need to transfer 2 yuan, you can pay 1 yuan each from the change and bank card, or you can choose to pay with two bank cards in combination.

Currently, this function can only be used in transfer scenarios between friends. Scenarios such as sending red envelopes and WeChat store shopping are not yet supported. This feature is still in the grayscale testing stage and is only available to some users. Users who are not covered must wait for subsequent updates.
