Exposed promotional images show that Logitech is developing a new wireless folding mouse, which is shaped like a flip phone folded in half and focuses on portability and comfortable use. It is said that this mouse, which has not yet been officially named, can be folded in half from the middle to be easily stored in a bag or pocket. It can reduce muscle fatigue by about 22% compared to using a notebook touchpad directly. Logitech also claims that the new mouse can be used on a variety of operating system platforms and is aimed at users who often work on the move.

Judging from the appearance design, this folding mouse is somewhat similar to the Microsoft Surface Arc mouse and Lenovo Yoga mouse. It also has an arched structure when unfolded for use. The difference is that Microsoft and Lenovo's products can only be folded flat for storage, while Logitech's new product adopts a "shell-style" folding structure similar to a flip phone, which is more conducive to reducing the size. Logitech has not yet announced any official specifications or sizes, but judging from the leaked pictures, the folded mouse is very small and even looks slightly "small" in the palm of your hand.
In terms of operation, the new mouse cancels the traditional scroll wheel and instead introduces a touch area called "Adaptive Touch Scrolling" between the left and right buttons. Users can scroll by sliding on this small touchpad. In the exposed image, a green indicator light can be seen above the touch area, which is speculated to be used to display the wireless connection status. According to relevant information, this mouse can be paired with up to three host devices via Bluetooth, and its shape is also suitable for both left- and right-handed users.

Leaked marketing materials also show that the visual style of this folding mouse is obviously "the same" as Logitech's portable keyboard Keys-to-Go 2, and the slogan even claims that the two are "perfectly matched" in design. The currently exposed pictures only show the gray mouse, while the Keys-to-Go 2 keyboard is available in both white and lilac colors, so it is not ruled out that subsequent mouse versions will also be launched in multiple colors simultaneously. Judging from the matching scenario, Logitech obviously hopes that the new mouse and portable keyboard combination will become a common mobile office peripheral for tablets and thin and light laptops.
Although this folding mouse has a novel shape, judging from the leaked pictures, whether its arch angle and grip curve are comfortable enough remains to be tested. The author of the report also pointed out from a personal perspective that this design may not necessarily be "easy to hold" at first glance, but for people who are tired of trackpads, as long as it is a physical mouse, the comfort level is probably still better than touchpad operation. At the same time, since the scrolling area is a touch panel, inadvertent finger brushing over this area during daily use may cause experience problems such as accidental scrolling.
At present, key information about the price, battery life, and launch time of this Logitech folding mouse are still completely confidential. We can only wait for Logitech’s official press conference to give the answer.
