Microsoft is testing the reintroduction of "Refresh" and "Print" buttons to the modern right-click menu of Windows 11 File Explorer, with the rollout expected to begin in the coming weeks.Since Windows 11 was released in 2021, it has replaced the classic right-click menu with a modern right-click menu based on WinUI. The new menu is more visually unified, but the right-click "Refresh" in the File Explorer has been removed. Users must click the refresh icon in the address bar or use the F5 shortcut key to refresh the folder.

Microsoft's previous explanation was that "the address bar already has a refresh function," but for users using widescreen monitors, the operating habit of right-clicking anywhere to refresh is difficult to change.
At the same time, the "Print" option previously only appeared in the classic right-click menu and required additional clicks to display more options to access. After the update, the print function will be displayed directly in the right-click menu without switching to the old menu.

Microsoft also said it plans to streamline the modern right-click menu and improve its responsiveness in subsequent updates.
In addition, the intelligent display of file size in the file explorer detail view (automatic switching of KB/MB/GB units) is also being promoted simultaneously.
