Recently, "Fallout 4"'s most ambitious, said to have a separate game-sized mod "Fallout: London" announced a release date. The mod was delayed from its original plan to release on April 24 next year. On Twitter, the development team TeamFOLON explained the reason for the delay.
Release day preview:
"While the content was completed as planned, after careful consideration we recognize that our testing process may not have worked as well as we had hoped," the team wrote.
The current global conflict is also said to have impacted development progress, particularly on the programming script team, as a "large portion" of people come from war-affected areas. The team continued: "This new date will not only allow us to complete sufficient testing, but also be in line with expectations for the live-action Fallout series."
They also commented on the "Fallout" live-action drama that has released its first trailer, saying that it looks great, but "a little too 'clean' for the "Fallout" series."
According to the development team, the size of the British city of London in the mod is equivalent to the total size of the original game of "Fallout 4" plus the "Harbor Terror" DLC. In addition to a large number of new environments, the Mod will also add a new soundtrack, environmental sounds, 7 new fully voiced companions, and more than a hundred side quests. There are also a host of new features, including playable guitars, dynamic weather, and fast travel options for trains, taxis, and ships.
