Apple has sent invitations to the media for the 2026 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2026) and announced the main schedule for the conference week. The slogan on the invitation is "Coming bright up", which is a warm-up for the annual developer event that will kick off on June 8.

WWDC has always been one of the most important events for Apple ecosystem developers every year, and the 2026 conference also has high hopes. During the preparation process, Apple took the lead in sending invitations to the media, inviting them to attend a special event at Apple Park in California. In the past, such invitations usually meant watching live keynote speeches live, but in recent years, invitees have been more likely to collectively watch pre-produced keynote speech videos in the park and participate in special communication and experience sessions arranged by Apple for attendees.
The slogan used on this invitation is "Coming bright up". As before, this copy continues Apple's consistent "riddle-like" style and does not directly indicate what new products or features Apple will release at the conference. However, it is generally expected that software platforms and new-generation system updates will still be the highlight.
While issuing invitations, Apple also announced the detailed event schedule during WWDC week and explained how developers around the world can watch and participate remotely. The conference week will officially kick off with an Apple Keynote held at 10 a.m. (Pacific time) on June 8, where Apple will focus on releasing this year’s major system and platform updates, including the much-anticipated iOS 27. The keynote speech will be broadcast live online simultaneously to global audiences through Apple’s official website, Apple TV app and Apple’s official YouTube channel.
At 1 p.m. on the same day, Apple will also hold a "Platforms State of the Union" session to provide a more in-depth introduction to upcoming new features, APIs, and related technical details. Developers can view this in-depth content for the technical community through the Apple Developer app, Apple Developer website, YouTube channel, and platforms such as Bilibili.
Throughout the week of the conference, Apple will continue to launch video sessions and technical guides hosted by its engineers and designers to explain the latest capabilities and best practices of each platform for developers. In addition, Apple will arrange Group Labs from Tuesday to Friday to provide developers with the opportunity to communicate directly with Apple teams in the form of online live broadcasts and Q&A.
This year's WWDC will still include the Apple Design Awards, with a total of 36 shortlisted works selected to commend developers for their outstanding performance in design, creativity and technical implementation. Through this award, Apple hopes to further highlight the professional capabilities and innovative spirit of the global developer community in creating high-quality applications and experiences.
