On May 23, local time in the United States on Friday, SpaceX completed the 12th test flight of the Starship. Its CEO Elon Musk posted a message on X to congratulate the team and said that they had made a significant contribution to the benefit of mankind.

Starship takes off
Friday’s launch was also the first test flight of the new version of Starship V3. This mission mainly verifies various redesigned components. In the end, the Starship successfully deployed the simulated satellite and returned to Earth largely intact, except that the first-stage booster spun out of control and disintegrated over the Gulf of Mexico.
