According to Reuters, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Wednesday that the company plans to invest approximately US$150 billion in Taiwan every year, calling Taiwan the "center" of the AI revolution and predicting that Taiwan will be a global technology manufacturing center for a long time.
Huang Renxun said: "Four or five years ago, NVIDIA's annual investment in Taiwan was approximately US$10 billion and US$15 billion. Now our annual investment in Taiwan has reached US$100 billion and will further increase to US$150 billion per year."
Huang Jen-Hsun made the speech at the launch ceremony of Nvidia's Taiwan headquarters in Taipei. He said the headquarters will break ground this year and strive to be operational by 2030. However, Huang Renxun did not explain how many years Nvidia’s “US$150 billion per year” investment scale will last.
