On the evening of May 28, Huang Renxun held the fifth "Trillion Dollar Banquet" in Taipei. This was the highest-level closed-door gathering during Huang Renxun's visit to Taiwan. As in the past, Huang Jen-Hsun’s banquet hosted a supply chain list ranging from wafer foundries, electronics foundries, AI servers, cooling, power supplies, industrial computers to edge computing related industries. The attendance list almost covered the key links of Taiwan’s AI supply chain, and also highlighted the close relationship between NVIDIA and Taiwanese manufacturers in the construction of global AI infrastructure.
It is reported that the attending lineup includes TSMC Chairman Wei Zhejia, Hon Hai Chairman Liu Yangwei, Quanta Chairman Lin Baili, Wistron Chairman Lin Xianming, Wistron General Manager Lin Jianxun, Wiying Chairman Hong Li'an, Wiying General Manager Lin Weiyuan, Inventec Chairman Ye Licheng, Compal Chairman Chen Ruicong, Pegatron Chairman Tong Zixian and other industry giants.
According to media reports, there was no business speech or signing ceremony in the entire event. It was just a table of home-cooked food, during which the conversation was about wafer production capacity, order delivery, and AI trends. Huang Jen-Hsun even took off his jacket and wore short-sleeved shirts for a group photo, with a relaxed posture but full of aura.
There was an interesting scene during the interactive photo session. Huang Renxun took off his jacket and complained, "It's so hot today." Wei Zhejia showed his true qualities as a joker. Wei Zhejia humorously responded, "That's because the data center is hot," and cleverly made a joke out of the circle.
