Tmall Supermarket has officially entered Hong Kong. From now on, Hong Kong consumers can purchase more than 80,000 products online. Hong Kong consumers purchasing goods at Tmall Supermarket will be able to enjoy the "Tomorrow's Delivery" service. For orders completed before 16:00 on the same day, the goods will be delivered the next day; orders placed after 16:00 will be delivered the day after. Previously, when Hong Kong consumers placed orders on cross-border e-commerce platforms, the logistics lead time was generally 3 to 10 days. The entry of Tmall Supermarket into Hong Kong is one of the major innovative services launched by Taobao in Hong Kong during this year's "618" period, which means that Taobao will continue to accelerate its overseas expansion.

Ding Zhencai, general manager of Taobao Hong Kong Station, said that the first batch of products on the shelves exceeded 80,000 items, covering various categories such as food snacks, home cleaning and personal care, pets, and maternal and child products. "In product selection, we have considered the differentiated needs of the Hong Kong market and the mainland. We have not copied all mainland products. Instead, we have combined the brand resources and genuine product control system accumulated by Tmall Supermarket in the mainland market to focus on supplementing high-quality, cost-effective mainland brand products to provide Hong Kong consumers with new shopping channels."

In addition to the "tomorrow delivery" service for all products, consumers will also enjoy the "free shipping for one piece" discount to Hong Kong. When purchasing designated products in Tmall Supermarket, they can enjoy free cross-border free shipping without putting together an order. Ding Zhencai also revealed that he plans to increase the number of self-pickup points in Hong Kong by 40% from the current approximately 1,200 by the end of the year, and introduce unmanned self-pickup points and self-service pick-up models.
