Tianya Community and China Telecom formed a legally binding arbitration award on data migration through the Hainan International Arbitration Court. Key progress has been made in preserving the integrity of historical data, and the return of Tianya Community is a foregone conclusion.
From 0:00 on June 1st, www.tianya.net will be officially open for access, and some of the best post browsing functions will be implemented first. Since the domain name tianya.cn is temporarily unavailable, Chengdu Tianya Ke Network Technology Co., Ltd. and Tianya Good Things (Hainan) E-Commerce Co., Ltd., as data trustee operators, only use the domain name tianya.net to support the gradual restoration of access. However, the ownership of core assets such as the Tianya Community brand and historical data is still owned by Tianya Community Company.
According to the "Personal Information Protection Law", the migration of historical data to tianya.net involves the processing of users' personal information and requires user authorization in accordance with the law. In the future, when users log in to tianya.net for the first time, the platform will provide a prominent privacy prompt.
Since access to the Tianya community has been stopped for three years, the historical system architecture is old and the underlying data structure is complex. It still needs time to sort out and reconstruct, but this will not have a fundamental impact on the restart. With the completion of data migration approval and system architecture reconstruction and optimization, Tianya Community strives to gradually restore interactive functions in June.
