Nvidia made headlines at the Taipei International Computer Show in China with the release of its new RTX Spark CPU. This is the first time in history that Windows notebooks have the ability to compete with Apple MacBooks. Of course, this is thanks to the ARM architecture, but this does not come without a cost.

Recent rumors claim that laptops and desktops equipped with NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X will cost at least US$2,900, equivalent to RMB 19,631. The less powerful Spark N1 hardware may cost around $1,800, but it's still quite expensive.
Morgan Stanley released a report on RTX Spark, which stated that the price of hardware equipped with RTX Spark N1X will reach US$2,900. Of course, it’s expensive for a reason.
RTX Spark N1X is extremely powerful, equipped with a 20-core Garce CPU, an RTX 5070 with 6144 CUDA cores, up to 128GB of LPDDR5X shared memory, 600GB of bandwidth between the CPU and GPU, and supports the full Nvidia software stack.
Although the price of a MacBook with the same configuration is almost the same or lower, thanks to NVIDIA's advanced computing technology, the N1X laptop will have higher graphics performance in games and large-scale AI task processing on the device.
For general video editing, office work, and battery life, the MacBook is enough; but if you need to run powerful AI models, play games, etc., the N1X is a better choice even at this price point.
