The long silence of "GTA6" is pushing players to the edge of madness. From studying moon phases and astrolabe to analyzing clues in GTA Online, fans have used almost every method imaginable to predict when the next trailer will be released. Recently, the behavior of a Reddit user has pushed this "civilian exploration" to a whole new level.

A Reddit user named Then-Pomegranate-625 posted a post claiming that he used his professional knowledge to set up an acoustic monitoring equipment outside the Rockstar North headquarters building. The microphone was allegedly pointed directly in the direction of the company's conference room.
His logic is simple and crude: the louder the volume in the conference room, the closer the third trailer of "GTA6" is to be released. The user said that the monitoring equipment captured a spike in volume at 11 a.m. local time one day, which he believes "must" mean that Rockstar gathered employees to watch the trailer, and the microphone captured the excitement at the scene.

In order to verify the authenticity of this statement, someone tried to conduct environmental comparison and anti-image search on the photos provided by the poster, but no direct evidence of forgery has been found. But overall, the credibility of this statement is extremely low.

A key rebuttal point is that Rockstar adopts extremely strict confidentiality measures for the trailer release information, and only a few internal employees know it in advance. Therefore, the scene of "all employees watching the trailer causing the volume to increase suddenly" is contrary to the way the company operates. Even if there is a volume change, it's more likely to be due to an employee's birthday celebration or an office incident.
What is more worrying than whether this statement is true or not is the extreme trend of the player group. Just this past weekend, there were reports that two bloggers broke into Rockstar North headquarters in an attempt to obtain information, and were subsequently expelled and detained.

Some comments pointed out that whether this Reddit user's acoustic monitoring is a prank or a real behavior, it reflects that some players are becoming more and more irrational for the news of "GTA6". As the waiting time lengthens, similar "outrageous" behavior may continue to occur.
