A new set of photos alleged to be of the iPhone 18 Pro body were recently exposed on the Internet, showing a variety of colors including black, blue and dark cherry red. It is considered to be the clearest related leak to date.

It is reported that these pictures were first published on the personal blog of blogger Yeux1122. The whistleblower Lanzk claimed that he holds several iPhone 18 Pro aluminum middle frame samples. These components include the back panel and side frames of the fuselage, and the words "2026" and some vague Chinese marks can be seen on the metal surface.
Judging from the published photos, the leaked samples include one dark cherry color frame, two black frames, and three light blue frames. The appearance differences between the multiple samples of the same color are not obvious. There is also a small plastic bag attached to each black and light blue component, which is suspected to contain a SIM card tray. This is regarded as side evidence that these components may come from manufacturers in areas that still use physical SIM cards, which is likely to include Chinese manufacturers.

Although this leak shows multiple color versions, industry analysts believe that this does not necessarily represent the complete color lineup of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max when they are launched. The current model iPhone 17 Pro only offers three colors, and earlier rumors said that the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to return to the regular strategy of four colors, including black, light blue, dark cherry red and the yet-to-be-shown light silver shown in this leak.
If the dark cherry color scheme finally comes true, some believe that it is expected to replicate the market popularity of the iPhone 17 Pro Max "Cosmic Orange" color scheme and become one of the new generation popular colors. At the same time, the return of the black model is also regarded as good news by some users, because the last time the Pro series offered a black option was on the iPhone 16 Pro in 2024.

The report pointed out that the editorial team conducted a detailed analysis of the leaked images and found no obvious traces of post-synthesis or generative AI forgery in the images. At the same time, the protruding design of the relevant internal structure of the fuselage is also different from the existing version of the iPhone 17 Pro. Although there is a lack of available EXIF data, industry insiders believe that this is not enough to question the authenticity of the image, given that such leaks usually do not contain this type of information.
It should be noted that the whistleblower Lanzk has no previous record of iPhone color matching, but he has accurately disclosed Apple's low-price MacBook plan for the education market, which eventually evolved into the later MacBook Neo. Therefore, in the eyes of some insiders, his news about the iPhone 18 Pro body color has a certain degree of credibility.
