On June 7, a video of Tesla FSD v14 being tested on a wall-mounted road in a mountainous area in China became popular overseas. The video shot by Chinese car owner Dahu L5 was forwarded by Tesla officials and Musk on the X platform,As of press time, it has been read more than 32 million times.
In the video, a Tesla vehicle equipped with the FSD v14 version is driving independently through a winding and steep mountain wall road. Blogger Dahu L5 later responded that the video was only moderately spread on his account, but unexpectedly received simultaneous reposts from Tesla officials and Musk, and the traffic surged, which was an unexpected result. Dahu L5 also pointed out that the actual difficulty of the road section involved in the video is limited, and it mainly tests the vehicle's driving rhythm control.

On May 21, Tesla officially included China as an FSD Supervised (supervised version) support region, and the main version in China is V14. Tesla’s CFO stated in the 2026 Q1 financial report that the goal is to obtain full commercial approval in 2026 Q3.
