Recently, more real-life photos of suspected folding-screen iPhone models (tentatively called iPhone Fold) have been exposed on social platforms, further clarifying the appearance of this long-rumored new product. On June 1, local time, a well-known whistleblower leaked a photo of a suspected iPhone Fold prototype or model on Weibo, and a few days later, on June 7, several new pictures were released on the social platform X. The person who posted the picture this time is Sonny Dickson, a whistleblower who has been tracking Apple products for a long time. The accompanying text directly calls the device an "iPhone Fold model machine."

Judging from the four pictures released so far, this folding device is displayed in two forms: unfolded and folded. In the unfolded state, two of the photos show that the back of the phone is similar to the previous exposure: half is a black area to indicate the external screen, and the other half is a white body with an obvious rear camera module bump on one side. Another expanded view more intuitively presents the large black folding screen inside, and you can also see the hinge structure located on the upper edge of the device, connecting the two halves of the fuselage together.
In the folded state, the real shots show two typical looks and feelings of the device. In one of them, only the black side can be seen, which is presumed to be the part of the external screen that is visible to the user when the cover is closed; the other shows the white side of the back panel and the rear camera module. The overall look and feel has a certain continuity with the traditional straight iPhone. The overall shape is highly consistent with a suspected iPhone Fold CAD design that Dickson exposed in March this year, which to a certain extent enhances the credibility of this leak.
In terms of color, Sonny Dickson also added on the possible colorways. He said on the This statement echoes the news from another recent whistleblower, Instant Digital, who mentioned in a report on June 5 that Apple is still discussing internally whether to introduce a black color scheme, indicating that Apple has not yet fully finalized the first color scheme.
Judging from the history of breaking news, Sonny Dickson has always been one of the important sources of leaked images of Apple hardware products, and has released appearance information of new products in advance many times. However, in the context of today's highly popularized tools such as AI-generated images and 3D printed models, the authenticity of relevant "spy photos" and models is still difficult to 100% guarantee. Even though the design details of the exposed images are highly consistent with previous rounds of rumors and design drafts, the outside world still cannot conclude that the final mass-produced machine will definitely use the exact same solution.
At present, the industry generally expects Apple to officially release this folding screen iPhone this fall, but officials have not yet made any public confirmation of the product’s existence, design, or launch time. Before Apple's official release, all information about the iPhone Fold still remains in the category of "rumors" and "revelation", and the final product form and configuration are still variable.
