For a long time, the built-in alarm clock of the iOS system has not supported the off-duty mechanism for Chinese statutory holidays. This has resulted in the workday-only alarm set by users being unable to sound normally during the off-duty time after statutory holidays. Users need to manually set a separate alarm clock for weekend make-up work each time. If they forget to set it, they may oversleep in the morning and be late for work.

Basically, all domestic Android systems already support the adjustment mechanism for statutory holidays. The daily alarm clock for workdays can automatically cover the adjustment time for rest and make-up work. This function is still very necessary for most users. Therefore, in iOS 27, Apple has finally brought support for Chinese statutory holidays for the alarm clock, including silencing the alarm clock during holidays and ringing the alarm during make-up work.
Identify rest days and working days for intelligent judgment:
In the past, the iOS alarm clock could only select a fixed time within 7 days, and the system could not automatically identify holidays and working days after holidays. This resulted in users always needing to manually set the alarm time. For example, setting the alarm time to not ring on a day between Monday and Friday, and setting a day on Saturday or Sunday as a ringing time for make-up work. These manual operations are always very inconvenient for users.
In the iOS 27 alarm clock, the working day now includes rest time, that is, if there is a rest day between Monday and Friday, the alarm will not sound. If there is a need to make up work on Saturday or Sunday, the alarm will automatically sound. This function relies on Apple to synchronize the annual holiday schedule in the background, so that it can provide users with intelligent workday alarm clocks.
Currently, the developer preview version of iOS 27 has been released, and the final official version will not be released until September, so iPhone users still need to wait patiently for 3 months. After that, when setting alarm reminders, you can directly select the workday including rest days option.
