After using iOS 27 for a day, I choose to forgive Apple

Although colleagues in the editorial department have foreign versions of iPhone, after upgrading, they found that they have to go through a waiting list to experience the Siri App. It is not yet clear how to break through. The Apple Intelligence we can currently experience are several AI functions in the photo album, which will be discussed later.

What about Apple AI in iOS27?

As for expansion, there is not much to say. It has already demonstrated relevant capabilities in reconstruction and elimination. It is reasonable to test one more for everyone to see.

It’s just that the whole thing is overexposed after expansion.

Finally, there are some cosmetic updates.

In the past, whether the keyboard had a liquid glass effect would depend on the current app. If the app doesn’t have liquid effects, then neither does the keyboard.

But iOS 27 starts forcing the keyboard to display a liquid glass effect.For example, the liquid glass effect can also be seen in "WeChat Keyboard" that is not adapted to liquid glass.

According to some development news we have received, every app on iOS27 will be forced to adapt to the liquid glass effect before long.

The reason is not complicated either. When iOS 26 launched Liquid Glass last year, Apple left a backdoor for developers in Xcode 26. There was a "UIDesignRequiresCompatibility" switch in Info.plist, which could temporarily skip Liquid Glass adaptation if turned on.

But this is only a one-year buffer period given by Apple to developers. Now for apps compiled with Xcode 27, liquid glass is standard and there is no choice. By convention, developers have until April next year to migrate to Xcode 27.

I wonder how the WeChat team will respond by then?

Of course, there must be many users who don't like the large glass effect. Fortunately, Guozige also left a way out.
