The wide-width folding screen model that passed BIS certification this time is SM-F971B. The certification document itself did not reveal the specific configuration. However, combined with information from multiple sources earlier, the internal screen size is about 7.6 inches and uses a 4:3 display ratio. It is positioned as a wide-width folding terminal with a tablet-like look and feel. In terms of imaging, the device is expected to be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The battery capacity is 4800 mAh and supports up to 45W wired fast charging. In terms of body weight control, this folding screen model is said to be about 200 grams, which is lighter than previous similar products.

At the same time, Samsung’s new generation of high-end smartwatch Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 also appeared on the BIS certification list with the model number SM-L715F, indicating that this product also plans to land in the Indian market. According to previous rumors, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is expected to have a built-in 800 mAh battery, which is expected to further extend the battery life. It will also provide a 5G version and be equipped with Qualcomm's new generation Snapdragon Wear Elite wearable platform to improve connectivity and overall performance.

It is widely expected in the industry that the Galaxy Z Fold8 wide folding screen mobile phone and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will be officially unveiled at Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked global conference. According to the previous timeline, the conference is expected to be held in London on July 22, when a variety of Samsung mobile devices, including the two new products mentioned above, may be unveiled to warm up the high-end mobile market in the second half of the year.
