An official Apple Vision Pro case appears in a new design patent document filed in Hong Kong, revealing the first-party headset accessory for the first time.On Friday, December 22, Apple was granted an additional 70 design patents in Hong Kong related to its Vision Pro headphones. The patent applications, first spotted by PatentlyApple, include a never-before-seen VisionPro accessory and are accompanied by a series of images showing the accessory from different angles.
The accessory's design appears to match the Vision Pro's headband, using soft-touch braid to cover the entire front and sides of the headset.
It doesn't cover the back of the headset or the LightSeal in any way, presumably to protect the headset's EyeSight display from scratches and other damage. There's also a tab on the left side of the lid that makes it easy to remove from the headset.
Another noteworthy design patent Apple received in the latest batch of filings is for the Vision Pro battery, which shows an embedded port. This is worth highlighting as it seems to confirm that the battery unit's cable is detachable.
