Xbox begins to bet on exclusive strategy again. Recently, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma promised that as Xbox’s business improves, more first-party exclusive games will be developed in the future. However, Asha Sharma isn't content with first-party exclusives. In an interview with the media, she said that she will strive for more third-party exclusives in the future and will acquire more studios in the future.

In an official interview published by Xbox Wire, Sharma spoke candidly about the future of the company. She said that in addition to first-party exclusive games, they also hope to return to third-party exclusives and once again seek new acquisition opportunities.
"We need reliable first-party and third-party exclusivity, and new IP is critical to our success."
Although third-party exclusives have been rare on Xbox in recent years, that doesn't mean there aren't any. In fact, a recent example is "Stalker 2", which was exclusive to Xbox consoles when it was released, and it was released on PS5 a year later.
"Going forward, we will evolve and restructure our product portfolio and look at capabilities across Xbox and potential M&A opportunities to help us win across hardware, PC, mobile and streaming."
