AMD's senior director of marketing posted a screenshot of Amazon's US CPU best-selling list on social media. The top 15 are all occupied by AMD processors, and none of Intel is on the list. The list shows that Ryzen 7 9800X3D ranks first with a price of US$449, followed by Ryzen 5 5500 with a low price of US$84, ranking second. The sales volume of the two is similar, which also reflects the strong dominance of AMD CPUs in both high-end and entry-level markets.

In addition, the Ryzen 5 9600X ranked third at $176, and the Ryzen 7 7800X3D ranked fourth at $374.49.
The sales momentum of X3D processors is significantly stronger than that of non-X3D versions of the same generation. 9800X3D, 7800X3D and 9950X3D all entered the top ten, while the corresponding non-X3D models did not make the top 15.

The Ryzen 5000 series also occupies multiple seats on the list, including 5800XT (5th), 5600 (7th), 5900XT (8th), 5700X (11th) and 5600X (15th). The cost-effective advantage of the AM4 platform still attracts a large number of buyers despite the rising price of DDR5.
It is also worth noting that Ryzen 7 9850X3D ranks 14th. AMD once promoted it as the "best game processor", but it is still difficult to shake the status of 9800X3D; Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 ranks 25th.
On the Intel side, the latest Core Ultra 7 270K Plus currently fluctuates around 13th place. The launch of Arrow Lake Refresh has saved some of its rankings, but overall it is still difficult to shake AMD's dominance in the retail market.

According to the May 2026 Steam hardware survey results released by Valve, the proportion of AMD processor users has reached a record high, reaching 44.97%, and the gap with Intel has narrowed to less than 10%.
